That's just despicable. Hatred for a rival (even Auburn) has no business being vented against innocent (and irreplaceable) trees that have been standing since long before anyone in the state had likely ever heard of football.
With the agricultural and environmental regulations almost certainly violated by this act, the culprit could likely be facing devastating fines and penalties, in addition to significant jail time.

Well if they catch the guy that did this he could be in even more trouble than just killing trees. This sort of stuff can also damage ground water.

Just saw this thread. I heard about the poisoning tonight on the radio, what a shitty, shitty thing to do. I hope whoever did it is caught and prosecuted if possible.
