We helped recruiting with the packed A-Day game, set the spring game precedent across the nation, now we are getting recruits ourselves on facebook.

Pretty soon our fans will be calling plays

I always just yelled "BOMB IT TO JULIO", and then McElroy would check off to Ingram or get sacked and then I'd go "WHAT THE frick."

Never been to bama's a day and don't plan on it. But you do realize it was at capacity because its free. Not to say that you don't have a huge following though. Congrats, it does help somewhat, but not as much as one might think.

yeah A-day is free, but we still sell out all the other games and the waiting list for season tickets takes years

True, just saying that bama fans tout that they sell out a day all year long but really has no bearing on anything. Just as auburn touted on 80k going to the NC celebratation. I mean are we to the point where we are celebrating how many fans we have.

Maybe Auburn should try having theirs be free

Having your A-day game cost money is a douche bag move. I don't know why people do that.

ETA: Not a AU flame, I don't even know if they do cost money. I'm pretty sure Ohio St does.

ETA2: Unless the program was in dire need of money and failing.

True, I mean its a glorified practice. They should def be free. Most schools charge money. But its probably to cover cost.
