Rafael Palmiero funded an indoor facility for Miss State. The football team actually has to share with the baseball team (there is a 50 yard football field, and a full size baseball infield), and the baseball team gets preference when they need to use the facility. This is a picture from when it was first built about 5 years ago. There are currently batting cages hanging in the are of what would be left field on this indoor field.

Thread back on track, now back to talking about Alabama's upcoming ghost infested baseball facilities.

We really need to do something about getting an indoor field. No, I am not making excuses about snow handicapping our team, etc...

For schools that actually care about baseball, we might be the only one where its not unusual to have half the pre-season practice days be days where the ground is covered in snow.

The past few winters have been rough in Feb.

We have probly 9 inches of snow on the ground right now, and have had at least 6 inches on the ground since Tuesday. Forecast calls for up to another foot of snow next week.

Its stupid. Maybe Cliff Lee can buy us a new indoor practice field...
