Let me start by saying I'd love to have GW in Knoxville, and I thought it was hilarious when Janzen did something similiar to LSU. So this isn't meant as a put down.
So according to Brent Hubbs.
Gabe Wright committed to TN on Sunday, reaffirmed his committment on Monday.
Texted Antonio Richardson, Cam Clear, Arnett and a host of other Vol recruits, as little as 2 hours before his announcement. VFL - Vol for Life
Great pick up, kids a good player.
And I can appreciate the little bit of Lane Kiffin your staff has in them.

No Hubbs was actually pretty 50/50 on Gabe, Our Scout Mod said Gabe was a lock.
This story has been confirmed by some of the commits and some one from the coaching staff.

If this is true. This kid has the suck pretty bad. Fits in the Nick Fairley mold. Can't say he fits in the Eric Smith mold, yet.

This story has been confirmed by some of the commits and some one from the coaching staff.
It may be true, but I have seen so much BS get passed around as legit these past 2 weeks, that I am skeptical of everything right now.

Yea, actually I did. He pretty much said AU led the entire time and visited AU about 20 times.

Multiple recruits said, in an interview with TN media. That Gabe texted them at approximately noon est time. About 2 hours before he committed VFL.
The coaching staff confirmed that they believed he was a silent commit to TN.

I don't THINK they committed to both school at one time. I see what you're saying. I haven't heard them texting other recruits either. I could see Cyrus texting the OL recruits though.

Gabe and Cyrus hasn't done that. They were actually torn about the situation.
