Just saying. The past like 3 years it's been SC and Florida.

Mainly Florida.

I think he means "including" 2002. That would give us 2002, 2003, 2005, and in 2007 we were co-champions with UT (look it up)

i didnt read these pages and i dont want to get into a pissing match but what a dumb fricking post.

there's shite you can make fun of us for, but losing bowl games doesnt really happen that often and we beat auburn, tennessee, and usc just as much as they beat us recently.

The calendar for a Georgia fan goes something like this:

January: Lose bowl game (if they're in one; this event often moves back to late December, on the Ocho). Blame refs and one of the coordinators. Declare that the upcoming season is "their year."

February: Declare themselves national recruiting champions. "This class will ensure that we never lose another game."

March: Spring game. Declare this year's new running back "The next Herschel."

April-July: Argue heatedly about the margins of victory in the upcoming season. Debate hotel room locations for the BCS game. Squash any suggestion of failure by repeated references to "talent" and "one of the top programs in the country." Blame repeated player arrests on the media and over-zealous police.

August: Declare an undefeated season is at hand. Extol the virtues of players who couldn't beat lower-tier teams the year before and pass those failures off as aberrations.

September: Lose to South Carolina. Declare this a fluke and scrutinize the future schedule for how to make up a game in the division.

October: Lose to Tennessee. Blame loss on coordinator. Lose to Florida. Rationalize by noting they always lose to Florida, and that Tampa is nice in January.

November: Lose to Auburn. Rip hair out and blame on "dirty football" or "cheating" or both. Call for firing coordinator and a "get-tough" return to "old Georgia football."

December: Lose bowl game (if applicable). Start looking forward to recruiting season
.

still stings getting turned down by UGA admissions?

I have never had a problem with Georgia fans. I have a lot of family members that are Georgia fans. However, the "year in the life of a Georgia Bull Dog fan" hits the nail on the head with them. I love the loyalty but they definitely always think they are God's gift to football.

It really is a rotation...EVERY year is the same for them. It blows my mind that they stay SO loyal after getting disappointed time and time again. But that goes with saying that their fans are loyal, and I definitely respect that
.

You live in Atlanta, I live in Birmingham and can say the same about Bama fans.

Having been a lifelong Dawg, I certainly don't think we are God's gift to football. I don't know many of my fellow fans that think that either.

Would you think more highly of us if we just gave up every time we got disappointed and became Auburn or Tech fans?
