Why did neither of them sit after their personal fouls? I think it is clear that Chizik is content to run a thug style program.

Both of those guys pulled blatant cut and dry thug moves and Fairley even nodded his head approvingly at his personal foul. Honestly I think the coaching staff is afraid of those two guys.

Difference is, Saban would tell Petey to beat it if he screwed up half as much as Eric.

Well, this certainly would deserve the nomination for Cool Story of the Day, Bro. But, I'll wait for the other options to emerge.

jso, and he is tackling the quarterback while leading with his facemask and running through the player. That is a textbook form tackle.

Speaking of pettie smith. How is he doing? Will he ever play at Bama?

Petey just completed his red shirt freshmen year. He is competing for playing time. He will certainly have to earn, but there is no reason to think with some hard work he will not have plenty of success.

Actually that's not a text book form tackle.

Text book would be having his helmet up, leading with the face mask. Crown down is not a text book form tackle. It's not dirty by any means because he's not at the head, but it's certainly not text book.
