Coach Les Miles is one of the finest coaches in the SEC. I want you guys to step up and admit... wouldnt you like this type of man, with this type of character and this kind of winning percentage at the head of your program?

I'll hang up and listen.

No. I'll take his luck, though.

I'll take his winning percentage. I wouldn't take him here, because I can't see him getting UT to that level.

And before any idiotic comments, I don't think Dooley will either.

Deservedly or not, there is not a fan base in the SEC that has any true respect for him. Despite winning like an elite coach, he is not considered an elite coach.

This will not end well for the OP. I think LSU wins in spite of Miles, not because of him.

i think Miles is a great coach. recruits very well, and wins a lot of games.

very eccentric though, so he won't get a ton of lee-way if things start going south.

Doesn't matter how it ends, just curious of the opinions out there. I'm sure the Bama fans will be satisfied with Saban, and other schools appreciate their head coach as well. But "if".... would he be right for your school?

I would only want Les Miles running my program if there was a guarantee that he had two great coordinators who had no aspirations for head coaching jobs and would stay there with him for years and years. He is only as good as his coordinators.

my thoughts exactly.

he seems to work well at LSU. still think that LSU fans will be disappointed with his replacement if/when he leaves/is fired.

Is this the sales pitch you're using to try to entice Michigan to take him?

I don't think he will be fired but I can see him perhaps leaving. ...and I think LSU will miss him.

We're not talking about our former coach.
