Not intended as a flame, well maybe a little bit. But seriously if you watched the pregame with the camera on Petrino he repeatedly let out a big inhale/exhale, looked jittery, etc.. When the two coaches were meeting a midfield talking, he was jumpy, hands in pocket, rocking back and forth, etc...

I think this cat was nervous as hell and his team followed suit.

Anyone else notice this?

He always looks squirrely to me. I certainly wouldn't want to be in a foxhole with him. Seems the type that would crap himself when the poop hit the fan.

I noticed this too. He looked like he didn't know whether to run out of the tunnel or back to the locker room.

I'm no arky expert but his play calling seemed pretty weird...worst one was the forth and afoot. Hello, 6'7" qb . Sneak the ball!

yeah, we folded and were nervous. Football is a funny sport played with a funny shaped ball and it bounced their way in the first then we tried to come back but feel short. I think we are the better team just not in this one game. We would win 7-8 times out of 10 but this is one scenario in which they beat us.

Meh, but you could convince me of 5-5 out of 10. But Im not messing with Petrino, Im being serious. He was doing these huge inhale/exhales with the camera on him and he just didnt look right. Maybe he's like that before all games I dont know.

I noticed it and said to myself he looked nervous as hell. I don't watch a lot of Petrino so I don't know if it was out of the ordinary.

Players, coach, everyone looked like they were nervous az hell on the Arkansas side.

Arkansas played way to gimmicky on Defense 1st half. Should have just stuck with their basic defense scheme. Gave Ohio state way to much ground in the 1st half.

I think it was his normal M.O.

Couple of weird play calls for someone known as an expert in that area. 4th and 10 and run up the middle? Hello Houston Nutt. Again, sneak the ball if your QB is 6'7".

Good comeback by the pigs but the WRs absoutely stunk it up last night. We can put to bed the best WR corp that's for sure.

we did sit off for a month and longer which IMO led to a lot of dropped passes and nervous play. Yes we were out coached and out played completely in the first half. It was Petrino's biggest college bowl to date so yeah he was nervous no doubt.

You know all the "OSU has never beaten an SEC team in a bowl game" stuff had to get to him...regardless of what anyone says it is added pressure and the team folded in the first half...fought back hard in the 2nd and fell just short....it sucks but I'm on boards with the Arky fans...I feel like they are a slightly better football team than OSU...just not last night when it counted.
