So, exactly who do you root for? You keep saying "we", just trying to figure out if you are referring to OSU or Notre Dame...

Out of curiosity, which one are you referring to?

Gamble getting mugged on 3rd and 6 with about two minutes left. He also made the catch in bounds, but there was no replay at the time, and it was called incomplete.

Not really sure how that makes them 'middle of the pack.'

They beat 7-7 Cincinnati 23-19
They beat 3-9 Northwestern 27-16
They beat 8-6 Wisconsin 19-14
They beat 7-6 Purdue 10-6
They beat 5-7 Illinois 23-16 in overtime

Hardly dominating. I'm talking about you average OSU team over the past decade and you are hanging your hat on their one NC teams being represenative of their play over the course of that decade?

I go to ND, I grew up an OSU fan. ND's my #1 now, but still big Buckeye fan. Say "we" out of habit, referring to both teams, varying on the context. You know who I'm talking about in this situation, at least you should.

And they WON all those games. How would that make the Bucks middle of the pack in the SEC, necessarily?

how your's feeling after Mallett gave OSU their first win against an SEC team?

First win in a bowl game.

I knew we should have sent Vanderbilt

The SEC didn't "send" anyone. Arkansas earned the bid by going 10-2 and being the second highest ranked SEC team at season's end. If you didn't want Arkansas to go, LSU should have taken care of it on the field, but they weren't good enough - so quit your yapping.

Big Ten's not "shitty", learn the definition. And to think when OSU is in the top 10 they'd be middle of the pack SEC (i.e. 4th-8th) is stupid.

Good thing you avoided a trip to East Lansing this year or you might have found yourself ranked behind 5 SEC West teams in the final polls.

What record did you end with piggy? Oh that's right. The same record as LSU. Gfy and welcome back to mediocrity without meth-head at the reigns.

Says the guy who was sitting in the Cotton Bowl while Arkansas was sitting in the Sugar bowl.

So Mallett gave OSU the game, but we'll be nothing without him? Mkay!

As I recall,....which 2 representatives from your conference would play in BCS bowl games came down to the final rankings and while both teams finished the regular season with 1 loss, OSU was fortunate to lose their game earlier in the season. Yes, this clearly means that MSU could not have beaten OSU.

I will settle this cat fight once and for all. Both LSU and Arkansas suck. Equally.

Let's not call it getting mugged, although the guy did pull on the jersey. I'm not sure why all the Buckeye fans seem certain it was a catch. Seems like every replay showed the back of the receiver without a way to see the ball.

The team they beat in the national championship game would have killed every SEC team that year and I may take them on a neutral field over all of the BCS champions from the SEC. Also, OSU blew out the Pac 10 champion that season, IIRC.

I didn't just list one season.
