No actually they do. Especially when they weren't aware of the wrong doing until the information was brought to the Athletic Department.
Guess what we did with our coach? We booted his arse. We didn't give him a new hat and a new towel to wave around like a 12 year old punk.

Look at the facts, as admitted. Look at the history of the NCAA. They are the ones that will deal with these violations and render a punishment. Until then you, me and everyone else on this thread may as well go whistle dixie somewhere.
And I'm not an expert on this stuff so I may be wrong, but it seems to me that when teams rush to jump on the sword and self-penalize, the NCAA usually hits them harder then what they are "asking for" in effect.
You can say "but we fired the coach that cheated" and the NCAA is naturally just going to respond, "well you also hired him."

Actually, once the coaches found out about the rules being broken, they axed the coach, and the player left the football team.
He never once stepped on the football field.

Welcome. If you read this whole thread you are an idiot , but you also see there are many on here that take this stuff to heart. Mostly LSU fans, but, unfortunately, my avatar change was the result of an Aubie that takes this too seriously and started a rant on people changing their Avs to root for Oregon against AU. ETA: 230 more pages to catch ATPB.
