Congrats

I'm actually pretty jealous. I haven't been able to transfer to Alabama yet. Hoping to go in the fall after I get back from Disney. With any luck I will be the first person in my family that has actually had the opportunity to attend and graduate from Alabama

I actually think it will surprise most people, but I'd say Arky. I've noticed a lot of them aren't even from Arkansas and didn't attend college in Fayetville either.

Most of us seem to at least have an Arkanss connection. Who doesn't?

In Arkansas growing up in the state or attending the school should gain you the right to fanhood.

Given how they don't have a large alumni base, you are the average Miami fan.

I honestly don't give a shite where someone went to school. I go to Jewlane, but I still love The U. Does that make me any less of a fan?

Yes it does actually, if you didn't go to the school you should stfu with the exception of king, how could you not go to the academic mecca of ITT tech. I bet he still wore arkansas colors to their games though.

Also lived in Jonesboro, Fayetteville, Heber Springs and Little Rock and have family in Camden and Pocahontas so I'm a true Arkansan.

I'm mixed on this.

Its ok to be a t-shirt fan, however a t-shirt fan should never insult another man's actual school.

I had a big blustery, a-hole-of-an OU "fan" talk so much drunken shite to me on Dickson Street, at a bar.

Turns out, he was 100% t-shirt. I laughed at him and called him a pussy.

If someone thinks im less of a fan becuase I didn't go to the college, well they are entitled to that opinion.

I am entitled to my opinion as well. And I am of the opinino that person has the gay and a low self esteem.

Not one bit. You contribute to your favorite team. You are just as much a fan as someone who went to the school. It's not fair to say you can't be a real fan if you don't go there. Some people can't afford to go to there. Or that school doesn't have the best program for your particular major. I'm not at Alabama yet, but I am as big a fan as anyone that goes there

I went to grad school in Fayetteville, best place I have ever lived.
I would say LSU has a huge amount of sidewalk fans. Every toothless redneck in North Louisiana (where I live now) is adorned with a walmart LSU shirt or hat. I think it is hilarious. I work state wide and am on the road every day. Whenever I see a clunker on the road it has an LSU sticker on it (if not a ULM stcker).

Well they can go frick themselves if they think you are less of a fan...
I've said it before.. I have friends that didn't graduate from college and I'd much rather hang out with them than the emotionally stunted MD that enjoys masturbation more than sex. (yes.. I know him )

Why the frick does it matter if you went to the University or not. Some of the most loyal fans prob never attended the school that they spend hundreds of dollars, possibly even thousands on every year.

Just because one attended the University does not make you any more of a "fan".

I have a ton of friends who never attended UTK, but you can bet your arse they are in Neyland or TBA every game spending money and cheering their arse off.
