Someone told me the money he would have received for being on Letterman last night was donated by the Late Show to Wrights Mill Road Elementary School...which is the elementary school that he has been volunteering at and where they had a send off celebration for him a couple days before the Heisman Ceremony

I can only predict the responses to this but oh well

Well if he would've gotten any money for being on Letterman Trotter would be your starting QB on Jan. 10 so I'm sure this happens every time a college athlete is on that show...

What did you think he was going to do with it. Can't keep the money for himself. He is an amateur right?

So when Fox News asked him why he didn't show up to the taping of their segment did he respond "the money was just too much"

Why are you saying "frick you" to a guy who pointed out the obvious? He can't get the money so what do you expect him to do? I'm sure every Heisman winner ever has done that. You're the one trying to make him look like a saint for it. He had no choice I'm sure.

Cool, I've always wondered about what they do in those scenarios

Cam was probably hanging out at the elementary school trying to pick up some term papers he could half way understand before turning them in as his work.

He probably posted it because he is giving it to the children that he volunteers for quite often.

He doesn't seem like a bad kid at all. He fricked up in the past sure, but I guess no college football players ever frick up right?

Exactly. A little arrogant and not necessarily very bright and possibly a poor decision maker off the field, but I think he is a decent kid all in all. There are certainly much, much worse on almost every college football team in the country that no one hears or cares about because they aren't star players.

Maybe Cam can take some English classes there.

I agree he doesn't seem like a bad kid, just dumb.

Well, there you have it, his dad and him will never talk again. You know he was contractually required to give 10% of all endorsements and 25% of all media money to The Holy Zion Center of Deliverance.

I would be shocked if Letterman paid for top 10 guests. The exposure alone would be worth more than some fee for showing up. Maybe they pay for travel and hotels if they do the show in NY but other than that color me skeptical.

Having said that, if he did donate the money he earned to his dad, I mean the school then that is awesome.
