Hes been ruled eligible even thou they admit rules were broken. So unless there is definitive proof that money changed hands I doubt they will have to give it back.

I 100% agree with marines

And as for him being ruled eligible, that doesn't mean that he was eligible for the first 12 games of the season.

The NCAA said with the info they had now that Auburn didn't have to worry about vacating wins.

Nope Herbstriet said on the BCS show that he felt that more information could and probably will come forward. I think they know but just have not done it yet. However, How can I be the worst hog poster when everything I say comes true.

Given Auburn's record, I say they give back a lot. They're known to be very giving.

I typed : Auburn gives back into google and wouldn't you know, this is the first thing that popped up:

Check out the link:

Newton Gives Back - Auburn Family
absolutely precious. I salute you Cam Newton for all of your hard work in the community

It also temporarily eases concerns that Auburn's 12 wins - and any titles - would wind up being vacated if the NCAA had found that Newton had been ineligible because of violations committed before signing with the Tigers on New Year's Eve 2009.

Based on the information available to the reinstatement staff at this time, we do not have sufficient evidence that Cam Newton or anyone from Auburn was aware of this activity, which led to his reinstatement. From a student-athlete reinstatement perspective, Auburn University met its obligation under NCAA bylaw 14.11.1. Under this threshold, the student-athlete has not participated while ineligible.”

They did not say that auburn doesn't have to worry about vacating wins. They can very easily come back and declare him ineligible in the future. It's happened before
