Let's all be real about this...

Cam Newton and AU got off on a technicality. The same way a criminal gets off if a cop doesn't read him his miranda rights, or if a search warrant is improperly executed. Any reasonable AU fan realizes this, and also realizes the NCAA will address this loophole very soon.....so no, this is not going to be standard operating procedure from now on.
With that being said...I, as an AU fan and alumni, am happy that my school is playing in the SEC champ. game, and will be even happier if we make it to the MNC game. This does not mean that I agree with the way any of this has come down, and that I take pride in the fact that Cam Newton's father made some poor decisions. However, I do take pride in the fact that it has not been proven that AU participated in any of these shenanigans. And until that is proven, and crazier things have happened, would everyone please shut the hell up about AU's involvement and let us enjoy our Championship run.

Whatever. It's fine for now. But AU isn't off the hook. It is free to play for the rest of the season so far as nothing new arises (and won't because no one wants a TCU-Oregon game...although I'd suggest put Wisconsin there).

I think most of the older Auburn fans with perspective will disagree over time
