To everyone who made fun of the notion, you just saw a prime example of it.

Now is there any doubt that Auburn will indeed get in trouble? This is happening so the BCS title won't get vacated.

agree. it was at least close, but pretty clearly not a catch. not remotely comparable to very many horrific calls. and i think it's in birmingham.

You may be right.
But it was definitely a very close call after Gary and Verne reviewed it. It should have been sent upstairs.
