Nobody has really stopped Auburn offense the last half of the season. Lil Nicky has the reputation of being a brilliant defensive mind. This Iron Bowl will make the case for me one way or another. By the way GO BAMA.

Can't believe I just said that

He couldn't stop Tebow in '08, but mastered it in '09. He's a good defensive coach. One game won't change that.

If i had one game to play saban would be my def. coordinator. That was the only reason i was mad he went to bama i knew he would have great defense and a running game.

It won't matter how good his plan is if the players don't execute it. I have seen nothing from our defense that says we won't have at least 5 or 6 breakdowns in our coverage in this game. They'll play fine the other snaps but those 5-6 plays with a lack of execution will give Auburn the space they need to beat us.

He was sooo brilliant that LSU rolled up over 400 yards of Offense on his so-called defense.

I think he will give them all he's got, and Bama probably has a little sump'n sump'n cooked up to try and stop the $250,000 man.

As mentioned earlier, the question is can it be executed. Because of the general youth and inexperience of the secondary, the schemes so far have been limited. They aren't leaving them on an island to bring creative blitzes, etc...The result has been a pretty dang good pass defense all season, but we have been weak in getting to the QB.

I suspect he is going to try and keep Newton in front of the D and stop those sweeps, draws, options, and misdirection plays. Even then I question if we can aggresively tackle Cam and keep them from grinding out 4 or 5 yards a play.

We have the advantage of home field crowd, but I am afraid the players may not have a big enough chip on their shoulders to make it happen. The D will have to play a complete game...

Biting.

Alabama had to replace the majority of not only their starters on defense, a lot of them that also rotated into the lineup. Our secondary has one veteran: Barron.

Considering how new all of them are, they're doing better than most expected.

So Alabama's ability to stop Newton will make the case for 30 years of resume building for Saban? Okay.

Doubt he really wants to show the world how to stop Cam. It wouldn't be good for either of them next year at Dallas.
