She might wanna consider transferring. That degree might not be worth the paper it's written on in a few years.

I doubt that seriously. Could you imagine the lawsuits if that happened. No way SACS pulls accredidation on a school like Auburn because of rogue boosters. They'r off probation. What happens is people will go to jail, they'll put them back on probation, and there will probably be an independent counsel/inspector generaly type person/group that will come in and clean things up by force. No way they discredit the degrees of tens of thousands of students at a large state school.

People need to quit talking about that. It sounds ignorant.

Agreed. I think posters are on this board are so driven by the football programs alone that they fail to realize these universities can exist without them. Just because a few rogue boosters may have paid athletes does not diminish the rest of the university.

1. Doubtful SACS pulls it.

2. They're more than rogue boosters, they are Board of Trustee members. And they ARE the reason they went on probation the first time. Being involved in possibly, the same situation as before, it doesn't rule out the possibility of probation by SACS again.

I felt sorry for the auburn fans at first because the vast majority of them had no idea what was going on. But after information started coming out, cam's cheating, his dad admitting to soliciting money, and voicemails and wiretaps in the fbi's possesion, I have seen little change in their stance. The President of auburns computer system should have crashed from angry emails from students, alumni, parents and taxpayers demanding to know the truth about what is going on at their university. Instead they are singing lean on me with Trooper Taylor leading them. They deserve whatever they get.
