Georgia,

Remember Florida a few years back when Richt sent his players into the endzone to taunt Florida after a TD? This past weekend he sent his players after Fairley after he put a boo boo on Murray's leg. I give the benefit of the doubt to a not so terribly bright 20 year old. I think its bull$hit that a 45 year old coach makes a decision to send his players out to do disrespectful acts. I remember the days of Vince Dooley and in those days Athens was an enjoyable atmosphere. The fans are so polarized and hateful now because of Richt. He brought his 14 years of thuggish ways at Florida State to Athens. He is the founder of "Florida State Criminals." Do yourselves a favor and jump back on that bandwagon you were on "fire Mark Richt!" He's managed to change the attitudes and ways of an entire fan base for the worst.

Richt's dirty, but you're out of your mind if you didn't think Fairley was trying to injure people.

that was nothing...did you see when he tried to break Fairley's neck by ordering Murray to stand there looking unawares while Fairley speared him in the back 45 seconds after the ball was out?

Murray had a kevlar reinforced titanium and steel flak jacket with spent uranium spikes in the back. If you replay the clip from youtube through a multispectral scanner you can clearly pick up the different elements. Richt clearly was trying to end Fairley's career with that one play.

The chop block was in retaliation to Failey's actions. They were both wrong, just in this particular game, Fairley started it.

Richt isn't the saint the media and Georgia fans make him out to be.

But don't try to excuse Fairley's actions. They speak for themselves.

You're right.... a 45 year old coach isn't nearly as bright as 21 yr old SEC athlete. What do you say to the fact that Richt sent his players to attack him while he was on the ground? Is that not dirty?

What a douche. Keep pointing out others shortcomings and surely yours will never come to light. Is that really your plan?

Are you trying to say that Auburn isn't dirty? Or that it is everyone else's fault that Auburn players can't control themselves? What exactly is your point?

Fairley isn't trying to hurt anyone. As a child he saw a classmate choke to death in the school cafeteria. That pile drive move he likes to do is his way of making sure the QBs airpaths are clear. Its his version of the Heimlich. Same goes with the spearing, he just wanted to check the QB for scoliosis.

He did ?

Well, why didn't Chizik call time after the first ejection and calm his fine young student-athletes down instead of watching dumb bastard II get tossed on the next play ?

Sort of neutral here: LSU grad, sons who are Auburn and Georgia grads.

There is no question Fairly slams QB's in way that draws fines in the NFL. He did it to Jefferson in the LSU game for sure--picked him up and body slammed him. He has to expect payback for the crap he is doing.

What Richt did against UF last year may have been bush league, but it wasn't dirty.

After the chop on Dorsey, AU folks need to tread lightly.
