Is Richt burnt out? I want to think he's not, but it could be just my blind faith. So what do you guys think?

Yes. He never was the Lombardi/Hellfire and brimstone type anyway, but it looks like has has no intrest in the game sometimes.

as an outside observer - I would say no. the loss of AJ at the begining of the year hurt you guys badly. AJ is super special, easily one of the better recievers I have seen since Randy Moss left Marshall.
sorry for members of my team and fanbase for being morons this past weekend. hope your QB is fine, cause he is something special.

don't get me wrong - I love my team and will stand behind them 1000% - but I will call them out when they do stupid crap - and last weekend was a dump trucks load worth of crap.
no excuses - and I do not condone it as a fan.

I don't really think so, but I do think he's a bit slower in changing things than he should be.

I heard Georgia has a secret deal with Dan Mullen

Starting to look like he will have two losses every year. I like Richt though!

As a Gator fan, I'd like him to stay based on the success we've had against him.
In a more objective view, I don't think that he is the one to take UGA to that next level. I know Georgia has been a top 3-4 winningest program over the past 10 years in the SEC but that has delivered 1 conference championship. That's simply not good enough IMO. He's a good coach, not a great coach.

and 4 trips to Atlanta, since 2001.

He seems to have plateaued. He will have you in the hunt every couple of years, but I think he will ever be thought of as one of the elite coaches in the SEC anymore.

No one can stay on top. Fans hit the panic button too fast.

Apologies, UGA and Mark. 2. I stand corrected. I could see him better suited for a program that doesn't have national championship expectations/dreams. The fan base is happy to contend for a division title but not up in arms by 3-4 losses. For example, I think Tuberville is going to have a nice tenure at Texas Tech out of the limelight behind OK and TX.

i honestly, honestly still believe in richt for sure. maybe it's my faith in him... but i think it takes a LOT of character and determination to take the beating he does by the media and to stay focused on his job and not derail.
sometimes losses are just a lot of bad luck or circumstantial situations. i think he's a great motivator, i think he really genuinely cares ABOUT the players and that shite comes through to a player listening to something you're trying to coach/teach him.
call me crazy too... i still like richt as a coach. no question he needs to get tough on his staff or replace the staff or whatever... he -may- BE too nice. you GOTTA balls up and kick some arse and BE an arse sometimes.

good points. I think he will be given one last shot in 2011, and if we don't win the east it'll be game over. The guy has been remarkably consistent up until the last 2 years, but the question comes up of where do you draw the line? He's won a ton, but not much recently.

sadly this si the one detriment to CFB in my opinion - its all about what have you won lately. i like Richt and hope he can pull you guys back to front running the east.

+1 for sure
i really believe this is one of those instances where we don't just "like" your coach and think he's a "good guy" to keep him there and have y'all stay happy. i think we all still kinda deep down believe in richt.

Georgia should be better than what they are.
