It's hard to apologize when you're team is 11-0 and in the driver's seat for an SEC and National championship but one is warranted here.

The actions on the field by the Auburn defensive linemen was ridiculous and inexcusable and as a fan I'm thoroughly embarrassed. Last night was a great chance to show the nation on national TV what Auburn stands for after two weeks of negative press and instead the Fairley and Co. acted like thugs.

For whatever it's worth, the beef in the game was strictly limited to Auburn's D-Line and Georgia's offense. After the game, almost all of Auburn's players met Georgia's players on the field and shook hands and exchanged hugs.

For the Auburn fans here that are going to flame me for posting this, frick off You're the walmart fans that you like to make fun of Alabama for. Pure trash. Don't bitch about Auburn being trashed on this site because you're the group that makes it easy for other fans to trash us.

I concur. We`ve been so defensive since the cam stuff started that its wise to pick our battles wisely.

I figure this is as good a thread as any for me to apologize as well.

Without going into reasons or specifics, I was pretty defensive and eThuggish myself this morning on the board.

Was a big dickhead to people who didn't really deserve it. Hopefully they read this.

I do feel regret for the way things ended last night and for any plays that weren't 100% above board. Also regret the way I handled some of my frustration with some long-time posters. Somehow I opened my mouth and stepped in a big pile of shite in regards to the USMC, as well.

My apologies.
