Has the SEC or the NCAA been given anything that they didn't have in January. What would be different in their eyes this week than the last 9 other than It got reported a couple different ways by ESPN in the last few days. Im still confused on how there is new light as far as the NCAA is concerned. What am I missing??

Supposedly the tapes were turned over to the NCAA last week. Mississippi State was not going to turn them over, but after the media storm they finally did.

Just saying what I've read on boards. That was posted yesterday morning, and nearly perfectly in line with what ESPN reported last night.

Auburn having a chance at the national championship, forcing the NCAA expedite the process and play their cards to avoid an embarrassing situation.

Why would MS State fan this fire when they obviously kept recruiting him after the so called tapes? Doesnt that implicate them also?

Again, I'm just relaying what I've read. I don't know shite

But supposedly the tapes were never turned over to anyone until last week.

Yes, which is why I think they finally turned them over when people started questioning the credibility of Miss. State's story and pointing fingers at Mullen/Meyer.

Or so the story goes.

Do you think the FBI and the NCAA are gonna run to the press every time they obtain a morsel of useful information regarding the investigation? Some info could be getting leaked but they arent gonna update America on every peice of evidence they uncover. The FBI isint wasting thier time for no reason. Auburn is fricked, just sit back and let it run its course.

What a F*cking soap opera, If I were MS State I would not have helped bury myself, since I was recruiting him heavily seemingly after I reported him to the SEC??

Anyone got a link for the tapes? I'd like to see the timeline on that.

But they still heavily recruited him, why would you put yourself in that situation if you knew he was dirty? Seems like you would distance yourself and withdraw your offers.

Wait, you're saying that MSU had taped recordings of their #1 recruiting target telling them that he was getting paid to go elsewhere, and they just shrugged their shoulders and said "Dang, tough break. Better luck next time, I guess."

Can anyone think of a logical reason why MSU would sit on concrete evidence that Cam was bought out from under them and not do anything about it for almost a year?

I can think of two. Either the tapes don't exist, or there's something on them that implicates MSU as well.
