Who was the best player on the field tonight? I'm not talking best future pro. I'm talking the here and now.

Drake Nevis?
Julio Jones?
Mark Ingram?
Rueben Randle?
Jordan Jefferson?
Greg McElroy?
Josh Jasper?
Stevan Ridley?

Someone else?

as usual, still the guy that will have the best pro career of anyone on LSU's team currently.

I wouldn't give it to Jasper, simply because he missed a field goal. All of those guys played lights out though.

Lee... he came through and clinched it in the clutch and for that, he must be commended. Plus, he played a mistake-free game.

Why Lee and not Jefferson? Just curious.

Julio had 10 catches, many against the so called best CB in college football. Playing with a broken hand as well.

LSU.....they played as a team, played hard and got the job done

LSU's "D" played extremely well the 2nd half putting pressure on Mac and blitzing.

Mac had a decent game, as did Julio and Ingram at times.

Good game LSU

Julio played damn good.

Nevis played lights out. Any time you force a couple holds against BAMA, man you must be doing something right!

Those would probably be my players from either team.

Did you see his dropped pass? That was pretty bad.

K Shep had a good game....he made a few collisions in the whole that I felt from my couch.

PP7 really didn't have a bad game.

Of the list posted, unfortunately I have to go with Jordan Jefferson...and it really pains me to say such blasphemous things.

Not sure why Lee was even mentioned in this thread.

he avg'd 8.9 a catch. A good receiver is still going to get his catches, Peterson did a good job of eliminating YAC. Also, McElroy was money.
