And, sorry if this is "Germans".

Forwared e-mail:

Do you wonder what Saban said at halftime? Here’s some insight passed along from another friend.

Former Alabama player William Barger lives in Hoover and became good friends with Jeremy Pruitt when he coached at Hoover High School. They remained friends when Jeremy took an administrative position at Alabama. Last year, Jeremy was promoted to defensive back coach at Alabama. I mention all that just to emphasize William Barger’s credibility when talking about what coach Saban does in practice or in the locker-room. Barger posted the following this morning on TiderInsider.com:

-------------------------------------------------

This is what the players saw on the chalkboard at halftime. Coach Nick Saban never said a word about it to the players.....just left it on the board for everyone to see, but he will never take his foot off of the throats of AU.
The guy is the best motivator in college football.

if he said that to motivate our team, that kind of negative mentality will come back to haunt us. but since i know that's a dumbass way to motivate, he didn't say it!

that's my two cents.

I don't see what is negative about it...Bama was playing without any intensity or emotion the first half. Auburn has definitely taken care of business on their end and Bama has to do the same if they want to get back to Atlanta.

this. If i'm a player that fires me up. Auburn will likely be the best team in the country and we aren't. we've lost. If we want our pride and our state back we better win. Our rivals are better than us. That's how I'd see it.

Nice dramatic effect by not saying anything as well.

That is awesome if he did. Just goes to show that everything about Bama, their coaches, their players, their fans, all revolves around Auburn.

Bama fans constantly claim that. So, to see the bama coach showing that alabama's manhood is judged by Auburn and what Auburn does is too funny.

I think it would have been a great motivation. You can't be the best in the SEC if your not even the best in the State.

When I opened this post, I found "Germans" written on the blackboard....

Another thing, this is so contrary to what Saban stresses to the team at all times, that I 100% do not believe it happened.
