What about a QB being tackled in the end zone? That one bothered me

This rule is there so a guy can't fumble the ball forward and another guy advances it for a score.
Yes. But if you when you can make exceptions to the rule, the rule becomes a suggestion.

correct, I guess no one here has seen the old lateral skip pass (fun play) in which it is also a live lateral ball

You Fail
quote:
A fumble in American and Canadian football occurs when a player, who has possession and control of the ball loses it. By rule, it is any act other than passing, kicking or successful handing that results in loss of player possession.

It wasn't a pass. It was a lateral. Therefore, none of this is relevant, and you are stupid.

it should have never come down to that. LSU dominated the game, but I can sleep well at night after that BS pass interference call that gave yall 4 points...it evened out in the end. Anyone that watched thatgame saw LSU was by far the better team.

so answer my question about the hypothetical play.. explain the letter of the law there..
By the letter of the law, only the center can move it.

that's not the point.....these fricks are saying we got handed the game cause the refs fricked up enforcement of the rules.....which they successfully enforced

Fighting Tampons hate LSU

I'm not saying that LSU didn't deserve to win.
I'm saying that if the letter of the law had been enforced, LSU wouldn't have. I'm all for rationality here. I thought the refs made the right no call, even though it was technically the wrong call.

You guys won the game and are the better team. We suck on offense and lay down at the wrong times on defense. Chill out man, don't let these fools get your blood pressure up. You guys deserved that game, no doubt.

A lateral is considered a backward pass unless I'm missing something.

successful handing
does not involve the ground.
