Isn't Stanford-Oregon a bigger game than Bama-Florida this week?

Forgive the lack of SEC homerism, but from a national perspective:
-The winner of Oregon-Stanford has a huge leg up on winning the Pac 10 and probably should go undefeated. The loser is all but out of the national championship hunt.
-The winner of Bama-Florida will have another war on their hands the next week and will have to win several more grudge matches to win the conference. The loser will have simply have lost their margin for error going forward.
That's life i n the SEC. You gotta win 4 or 5 huge games to win the conference. The PAC 10 might very well be playing its conference CG on Oct. 2.

Both are equally huge on the national stage.
OU/Stanford is bigger conference wise bec. UF/Bama could play again. The Pac-10 does a round robin format.

In my opinion, Stanford at Oregon is a bigger deal because it's a 1x game for conference primacy between two very good teams. Alabama and Florida will probably be repeated in the SEC Championship game in Atlanta. Too early to tell?
Maybe, but from what I've seen that'll be the case.

No. Alabama or Florida would stomp both Oregon and Stanford by at least 2 touchdowns.

You're missing my point a little bit. There's a decent chance that the Oregon-Stanford winner is goin to the BCSNCG. The Bama-Florida winner still has work to do to get to the SECCG

Wow, this isn't remotely true... the line on any of these matchups would be under 10 points.

Who cares about the line? I'm saying what would actually happen.

Both Oregon and Stanford have work to do as well the Pac 10 is a very underrated conference as a whole this year.

I'd take oregon to beat florida straight up

I hate to admit it, but I am much more excited about the Stanford-Oregon game.

You need to watch more Pac-10 this year. That is a solid conference and Oregon can beat anyone. Stanford can beat most anyone.

Get out of here with that... While all of the teams are good and both will be good games, Florida at Bama could be one of the best SEC games this year.

Watching two of the best offenses and defenses in CFB is more entertaining than what is going to be a defensive slugfest with sloppy offensive play. I honestly believe Oregon would take Bama and Stanford would take Florida at this point in the season.

Oregon-Stanford is a bigger game as far as conference championship implications. The loser would need the winner to lose twice to have a chance to win the Pac 10.
Florida and Alabama will probably play 2 times, with the 2nd game being WAY more important than the first game.
Florida-Alabama is the bigger game though, overall, because it matches the 2 best programs in the country.

Florida currently does not fall into the 2 best programs in the country category. Sorry bro

Well, that's your opinion.
Neither team will see a defense as talented as the ones UF and Alabama field.
Arizona State would have beaten Oregon last week if they hadn't turned it over 7 times.
And who has Stanford played?

You mean Bama-Florida is bigger because of the reputation of the teams. I'm trying to take it based on this season and the implications
