4th down call by Alabama? If we fail we give them the ball in great field postion with plenty of time on the clock.

I dunno, seemed like the logical call to me when you just need a few inches and our line hadn't been able to get good pushback all game.

i agree. thought he was gonna pull a belicheck (sp) in that colts game a couple years ago when he went for it on fourth....although that was like 4th and 6

I remember Shula punting the ball in that situation so many times. Then we had to watch the other team drive down the field and win the game.

Not ballsy at all. It was just the best move. Arkys offense can move the ball in a hurry. Don't want them to get the ball ANYWHERE on the field.

It was the right call. Your O line was good for at least a 1-2 yard push on virtually every running play.

I think it was the right call (obviously, now) because it put the pressure on Arkansas. Instead of punting and putting the pressure on our D.
That being said, 4th and inches is never a gimmie. It just takes, a mishandled snap to ruin it.
