They weren't the most catchable balls though.

The game went as I expected it to. Not happy, but not upset either. Hopefully the pieces will all be put together by next week so we can roll through the SEC...hopefully.

I just got back from Iraq and haven't saved up enough for the box yet.

Highlights:
-- Defense played lights out as usual
-- Offense played like poo (at the qb slot)
-- Running game was insane in the second half (we had a running back rush for nearly 150 yards in a half)
-- Lee came in and led the final drive, which was our best drive of the night
-- Whole game was very unimpressive
-- We win 27-3 (about where everybody figured)
-- Although we are playing solidly where everyone thought we would, we realize we could be so much better with just one change at one position
-- Tiger fans are still angry

I have a feeling we'll be seeing that in every game, at least from any competently coached team from now on out.

Teams aren't going to let PP beat them.

JJ;s passes were off the mark, not leading the receivers, boring into primary, etc.

I am glad Miles is running the sh^^ out of the ball.

Did 3rd & Chavis play an antagonist role tonight?

3rd and Chavis has been almost non existent so far this season.... UNC converted like 3 3rd downs, and I don't know the exact numbers for Vandy, but I bet it's like one or 2 3rd downs converted. Definitely less than 5

I saw lots of positives, but the rant seems to be especially pissed off tonight.

I thought our defense was excellent. I thought we ran the ball well in the second half. I thought we finished a game for once.

JJ sucked. Went 8 for 20 or something terrible like that. The receivers had some drops so it wasn't all his fault.

Basically, the rant is pissed because we didn't drop 40 on them. End of story. But the truth is we took a big step forward by finishing off Vandy in the 4th quarter. Big confidence builder for this team.

It was a three play drive and Lee did one thing. He made one pass. Ridley then did the rest on the next play, with a long TD run.
