Agreed and the team has never seen those days again. Not flaming on State but doubt they will ever see those days again....even though I would like to see them make a strong run.

I think we can get back to those days, probably even better if Mullen stays long enough. IMO

That would be the problem. A friend and I were talking about this very thing today and I told him that if Mullen somehow goes 8-4 and a better program opens up, he has to be on the list of replacements.

IF ole miss would give it up and then be absorbed into STATE we could be like LSU(the only big college in LA). Then we would get every major recruit in MS. We would dominate, the talent here is unreal.

You guys act as if State is ULM or something, Mullen will have put together two top 25 classes in three years by the end of this year, and will had a bowl game and winning season under his belt. While he may leave he's not jumping on the plane to leave, he's genuinely happy to be here.
