You claim to be an LSU fan, but everything i read is about:
Get off Saban's dick.

I'm tired about hearing all the QBs in the SEC in general. Ryan Mallett, Greg McElroy, John Brantley, Cameron Newton, Aaron Murray, Stephen Garcia, possibly Jeremiah Masoli, etc... All of them either suck, are overhyped or haven't proven anything yet.
Is there a QB you do like?

Not nearly as tired as I am of hearing how great Bama is, think about how many Arkansas fans there are, and then multiply that by about 20x and that's how it feels.

I'm sick of all of it....
Can't SEC football get here any sooner?

I haven't heard anyone saying how great Alabama is going to be. It appears that they will be ranked #1 in the poll starting the season but all I hear about when it comes to Alabama is how many players they have to replace on the defense. All the national coverage focuses on the questionable DB's and kicking game at Alabama. If you think about it on a national level even Mark Ingram hasn't been getting any national attention this off season and he is projected to be a contender for this years Heisman race. I hear it all the time from the LSU fans about their hate for Alabama. It is obvious to me living in Baton Rouge and teaching at LSU that LSU just wishes Saban never left. And I don't blame them. All I am saying is that the SEC has dominated the BCS recently and it is the SEC's time to get some more national coverage for all the schools in the SEC.

He's running on a treadmill. He is supposed to be full speed by the 5th when practice starts.

Mallet is the real deal...he is not Jevan Snead. What is over-rated is the Arkansas team...I see Mallet more like Eli Manning...great college qb, but not great enough to carry a mediocre team to Atlanta.

Sorry and obvious typo but I have Arkansas and georgia on the scedule for Sept 18. Oh wait at Georgia. Maybe they will try to black Arkansas out like they did Bama. That is gonna be a great game in my opinion for both teams.

IMO, Alabama and Ryan Mallet are both deserving of the preseason hype

I would give Mallet some more credit but his numbers against the ranked teams last year were horrible. Mallet might be great but it takes 11 players playing great for a team to be champions.

Agreed. But of course, it is entirely possible that Bama won't be as good as advertised (see UF circa 2009, AU 2003, and about a million other examples) and Mallet will fold...with the information available now though...I agree, deserving of the hype for sure.

Get that logical unbiased thought out of here. We can't handle the truth like that
