IF this article correctly states the position that Dareus and his family are taking, then I don't believe it. No way on this planet he just arbitrarily got a receipt from Austin...who does shite like that?
So long Marcell....

No kidding - I'm offended someone out there thinks the average person is dumb enough to believe that.

That article seems awfully pro-MD
I don't care what comes of this...I feel bad for the kid if it was an honest mistake but it doesn't look that way...it looks like MD and family are scrambling

FIFY... His kin are dealing with a whole different 'nuther situation more along the lines of "tragic" than "stupid"...

I kind of get the sense that he can be taken pretty easily. I mean remember when they put the mic in from of him at the NC game? He was so giggly and bubbly he couldn't get two words out. The otherplayers didn't seem to have the same problem. Some people just mature mentally faser than others. I hate for Marcel if he really didn't know but this is going to be one of those hard lessons learned.

Someone with, idk, $40,000,000 riding on their eligibilty?

While I'd like to think that he was aware enough to document his expenses because he was jealously protective of his eligibility, I have a hard time thinking that was the case.
Obviously we have the example of Ingram, who pre-vetted his travel to see Haden in D.C., so maybe, MAYBE, he learned something in one of those compliance seminars, and knew to document it all.
That's all we can hope for now. Because otherwise this story reeks...

I honestly don't believe I would be overly concerned if I was a Bammer fan...he may lose a game or two of eligibility at the most....

Not if he gets caught making up stuff. Remember the OSU WR last year.

I get that as an LSU fan I'm suppose to want to see Marcell gone or whatever, but I just can't get over the fact that this fricking party even existed. I REALLY hope he's not making shite up because that didn't really go too well for Dez Bryant. If he starts lying then he deserves anything he gets. I'd hate for the kid to cost himself millions because of one dumb arse party.

It would take a homer of epic proportions to buy that story.
