As for the post above I would agree with everything said.
But whatever you do while walking around DO NOT HAVE AN OPEN CONTAINER IN YOUR HAND ON SIDEWALKS OR STREETS. Officers will ask whats in the cup and check. I've even seen people arrested because they gave the officer a hard time about it. As long as you stay within the tailgates its not a big deal. Also Im pretty sure there are no kegs allowed at on campus tailgates and i know there are no drinking games allowed. Its part of the Presidents crack down on drinking.

yeah, just stay off the streets with the open containers. tailgating is pretty spread out all over campus and the surrounding neighborhoods. we're usually over by norman hall off 13th, but i'm normally roaming around all day. all the bars will probably be too packed on gameday, so your best bet is to just enjoy the tailgating around campus and hop around from camp to camp.

no drinking games is extremely gay

i don't know about the "no drinking game policy." when did this go into effect? for next fall? cause last year no one ever gave us shite on campus for drinking games

He's right. It actually went into effect a few years ago, however, I think it's one of those policies passed to bolster control if needed i.e. if a cop walks by and you're playing beer pong with a keg, he won't really care, but if you're being loud, obnoxious, or unruly he can justify taking you out legally.
Like I said, Gville cops are dicks. Bow to them and you'll be ok.

tailgating at Florida sucks...but the bars are right across the street from the stadium so you can just drink there before the game.

Look I'm just as cynical as the next guy, but I would never say tailgating at Florida "sucks", and I've been to many tailgates. It certainly ranks up in the top 5 for even an SEC school.
Just don't go wandering around in the streets with a bottle of alcohol and don't piss of the 5-O.

Florida tailgating is just much more spread out than other schools I have travelled to. But you also can park anywhere on campus for the most part and there is much less traffic then I have experienced at other places.
As for tailgating, I have never had a problem tailgating. Last year the only thing any one ever said to us was to not use bottles. But if you stay in the general area of your tailgate with your alcohol nobody messes with you.
