Notice where he lives.

Yeah, pretty generic name too. And less than 70 posts over the course of 6 months. I would say it's a troll, but I would think they would just get straight to the "fire richt" comments than actually write out a post like that. I think it's just an idiot.

He's a dawg, he just despises Richt.

That doesn't make sense. I don't think those two things can coexist. I mean, DESPISE? That's pretty damn strong feelings to have for the greatest coach we've ever had.

UGA will have a sick D-line next year and a solid group at LB

Paul I still don't know if you're kidding or not based on your "#1 D in the conference remark". But to your point, I'm a little concerned abt the D line to be honest. Tyson is a beast, no worries there. But Jones at DE is a converted DT so that's a little troubling. Dobbs should be fine. Our LBers should be outstanding. Houston and Washington on the edge should wreak havoc, and Dent and Robinson inside should be solid as well. And we'll FINALLY have a good LB coach for the first time since 2004.

Yep. I've had this argument before and I stand by it. Dooley coached 25 years and averaged 8 wins a year. He won 6 SEC titles and 1 NC. For 3 of those SECs and 1 NC, he had arguably the greatest college player of all time. All we had to do was give it to Herschel. In his non-Herschel years, he won 3 SECs over the remaining 22 years. Not all that great. Richt has coached 9 years and won 2 SECs, averaging 10 wins a year. By the time Richt leaves UGA, there won't be any doubt he's the best. I firmly believe that.

I'm not being sarcastic. Wait til you see this kid Burrows play at DE, he's a stellar 2010 commit.
Posted on 5/21/10 at 3:36 pm to Paul Allen
I think we're fine at DE, OLB, and DB if we stay healthy.
Not so sure about NT and ILB though.

From what I've heard he'll play OLB. A lot of people are real excited about the kid. You think he'll get much PT this year? We're pretty stacked at LB. Not to mention the fact that Ogletree could be moved there as well.

They played less games back then.

Also he did this in a time when bama and the drunk were dominating the SEC.

yep, he will be a perfect fit in Grantham's 3-4 D, he is definitely someone to be really excited abut, great potential and upside, also a high football IQ.

They played 11 with a possible bowl as 12. We play 12 with the possibility of 14. In 2001 and 2004 though, we only played 11 regular season. Over 9 years that doesn't make much difference. Over 25 years it'll definitely work to Richt's favor, but after only 9 years it really doesn't.

Right, so you're saying Dooley basically had 1 all star coach to worry about. Richt has saban and meyer in the league, had fulmer who won a title, and miles has one as well. The league is 10 times harder now than it was then. You're basically saying that what Richt is doing is more impressive.

Paul I gotta ask you, why do you know about Georgia recruits who aren't even in school yet if you're a michigan fan?

Not a Bobo fan, eh?
Certainly not as OC. Sky Box Bobo couldn't get the whole communication thing figured out so he had to move his show back to the sidelines which we are all suppose to believe will make him a great OC.

Good stuff bro. Richt is the dumbass and you will be calling for his job in a couple of years just like you did Willie Martinez when you finally figured that one out.
If you think Willie was our only problem then you are a frigging Idiot.

The only time i've really had a major issue with Bobo at OC was early in the year this past year, specifically the OSU and LSU games. But I expected some drop off from losing Staff, Moreno, and Mo Mass. And we still finished tied for 1st in ppg in conference play with Ark.
I'll let WG reply to the other parts. Those are to him, not me.

That's how all Closed Minded, Kool-Aid Drinking Disney Dawgs operate.
Greatest Coach Ever?
:rotflmao: :rotflmao:
Donnan was better in his last 4 years than Richt has been in his last 4. Truth is Donnan should have never been fired. Richt waltzed in and with the help of BVG and Donnan's recruits had some success.
Greatest Ever? Not over the last 4 years Tonto.
Lost 3-4 to Tenn
Lost 3-4 to Florida
Split 2-2 with the powerhouse Kentucky!
Yee Haw Bro. CMR walks on water. Gove me a break. He is a hypocritical douche bag and you are too blind to see it.

I think they played 10 with the possibilty of a bowl game for 11 for most of Dooley's career.
But either way I don't think you can judge the two on terms of avg wins. With Dooley being there for 25 years of course his avg wins are going to be lower with more chances of a bad season. When Richt has been there for 25 years then you can look at avg wins.

Here's what our major problems have been since 2006:
-An incompetent DC
-PISS POOR fundamentals from the linebackers
-lack of discipline, largely due to having our DC be everyone's buddy. Which led to players out of position and lots of penalties.
-inconsistent Oline play.
3 of those 4 problems have been rectified this offseason by Richt. Richt is not the damn problem. And please, enlight us on an early point of yours. What exactly is a "competent" head coach, since IYO Richt isn't one, and if we fired him this offseason like you want, who would we get that is competent and proven that would come here? I'll hang up and listen.
