Basically what it comes down to for me is this. In the last game of the regular season, against his biggest rival, when his team was in trouble he quit. Plain and simple, he quit.

I think he had a 10+ yard reception on that winning drive if I am not mistaken. That was a big play, and we might not have scored that TD if not for that play. So wtf are you talking about again?

You, and everyone else who follows AU or AL football, knows exactly what I'm talking about.

He had a bad game. And then, instead of sulking, he went out the next week, against the #1 defense, and had 186 yrds and 3 TDS. And the rest of the country knows EXACTLY what I'm talking about.

Hmm. I must have missed that part. I could've sworn he was hurt. Have you ever had a hip pointer? They are really fricking painful.

You need to know how to write a sentence. It must be that Auburn education.

quote:Bama was the best team but they still needed some gift calls from the refs and lots of luck to win 3 of their games. As good as they were the margin between a championship and a 3 loss season is very slim. All those thinking they are a lock this year would do well to remember they could have easilly lost those games last year and they will not be as dominate on D this coming year. JMHO. This is going the be a very wide open SEC race in 2010...
who was better?

Mark Ingram wasn't even the best player on our team.
But ya know what....the majority of Heisman Voters thought Ingram was the shite and thats what counts.

Ingram and Suh were 1 and 1A imo. Both deserved it really.

exactly why Ive come to hate that trophy. Media darling award is what they should call it.
Of course it goes to the media darling.
The trophy goes to the "Most Outstanding" player. Not the best. Not the best on the best team. Not the player who had the best stats.
Most outstanding. And how do you "stand out?" You look good on TV.
Period. It always has been and always will be a media award. Nothing has changed.

This post is hilarious.
You do realize that the margin between LSU going 9-3 and going 6-6 last season was "very slim" don't you? All those thinking LSU's offense will be drastically improved this year would do well to remember that they could have easily lost another 3 games last season and instead of finishing with the #112 offense, they could have finished deadass LAST in the country. If not for a few "gift calls" from refs and lots of luck to win 3 of their games, LSU would have been 6-6.
