i think a lot of it is hearsay that is merely perpetuated

i also think a lot of people come in with this hearsay on the mind and can somewhat make it a reality

a lot of myths floating around the lore of TS

Although I haven't been to miss state, I can't think of anything more obnoxious than 60,000 rednecks ringing cowbells.

Yet, LSU fans share everything and where we sit in TS(next to visiting fans) its the visitors coming in starting all the crap.

This is true. I have never been anywhere else that offered more food and drink. But I also have never been treated more like shite. You have no idea how much shite I got for wearing an OM sweater vest. Even idiots in yellow jumpsuits were giving me shite.

LSU may have the best and worst fans all rolled into one fan base. The good ones may out number the obnoxious ones, but the obnoxious behavior out weighs the southern hospitality at times

I have only been to Athens a couple times and both times OM was awful so we never recieved any grief. Besides USCr they have always been my favorite fan base. How are they so high on other peoples list?

I understand it is different when youre UF, Tenn, or LSU rolling in Athens so could someone give me examples of why they are so bad?

my UF perception is a bit biased because i had so many friends go there

so the rivalry got a bit more heated and the debates a bit more intense

you're onto something here. when i've been around the motor home fans, they were pretty good. but when i was a teenager, a 40 year old man tried to pick a fight with me there.

Ole miss fans are pretty damn snoody and obnoxious. It's like, cmon man!! You live in frickin mississippi!!

Well about 35-45% of students at OM are from either Memphis, GA, or Texas. And our largest alumni bases are in Texas and other states.

You also have to understand that OM isnt like LSU as far as being the states only school. With two other major colleges in the state and LSU fans all over the state, OM isnt filled with your typical Mississippians.

The Ole Miss stereotype of having to dress nice and drive a BMW scares off the rednecks and hicks, unlike LSU. Now with that stereotype I do admit we attract some douche bags. But they are weeded out eventually. The other half of students at OM who are from MS are usually MS cream of the crop. They are the doctors and lawyers kids from the state because OM is the Medical and Law school of MS

the Florida fans were pretty damn obnoxious when they came last year. but it was mostly the students and that's pretty much expected from all the student fan bases.
