I just have a hard time believing that Miss. State fans are that bad. I can understand why they would treat Ole Miss fans poorly, but not others. I went to Starkville this past season and after our great performance to win the game ( ) the State fans didn't seem too agressive. They were just kind of down in the dumps. I went to Oxford in 2003 (bar none the worst), 2007 (which wasn't a bad experience at all), and 2009 and I felt highly threatened and uncomfortable leaving the stadium (2003 and 2009).

I can't see how you would be highly threatened after the 2009 game.

2009 had the most LSU-Ole Miss fan intermingling than any game in the series I can remember.

#2 is why anyone would want to kick your arse after a win.
Nobody threatens you after they've won. That's just stupid. Heckled maybe. I'm sorry you caught a tough break.

I was walking back to The Grove to meet up at a buddy's tailgate and I had Ole Miss fans run up and scream "F*** YOU!!!!" in my face while shooting the bird. Also, we had quite a few bottles lobbed over in our section after the Miles meltdown. All in all, that was child's play compared to 2003. But, that was a lot bigger of a game and I was with an obnoxious group of LSU fans so.....
2007 was a really fun time though.

That said, I'm not saying that that doesn't happen in Tiger Stadium either...

Those are celebration bottles. We throw our bottles up in the air after every win.

No, what happened was Ole Miss fans were giving you more ammo to throw at Les Miles.

btw...I spent some time on the NW corner of the field during that game. About 4-5 guys were heckling our ROTC Guardsmen. It takes one hell of a true American to heckle a serviceman.

I`ve never understood the delusional label that Bama fans constantly get tagged with. What are people referring to exactly? I can completely understand the arrogance tag and the obnoxious tag although that is being highly exaggerated if we`re talking about in real life meetings. I admit the internet is a different matter. Delusion I don`t get. How are Alabama fans delusional for expecting to compete at the top of at the SEC year in year out while LSU, UF, UGA, UT, and AU fans who expect the same aren,t?

We aren't.

Not really SEC related, but out of all my bad experiences with SEC fans, none of them even come remotely close to this.... Penn State fans at their finest...

I'm assuming it had to do with the cannon that they shoot.

Even if they are millitary, they are Ole Miss fans. It's not like they are immune to heckling.

Yea, a good 4-5 guys. They were in the corner of the endzone seats opposite of ya'lls band. It was a bunch of BS stuff they were yelling. No Westboro level shite, but it was still BS.

What got me was 3 of them were well into their 50's-60's.
