Pretty much agree the USC has the resources and recruiting base to make it. The other 3 will probably never make it. USC should be the equivalent to Arky in the east and make it every once in a blue moon.

South Carolina
Kentucky
Ole Miss
Vandy

So much of a team's deficiencies can be overcome by good QB play. I think Garcia is probably the 2nd best QB in the SEC. With USC's schedule and UGA/UF having some question marks, I think USC has a decent shot of getting to Atlanta this season.

Yes MSU, your hand is stamped. You're in the club.

I have been able to convince Ole Miss fans that Atlanta is like the island of Atlantis.

Its a mythical place that really doesn't exist.

1) USC
2) Ole Miss
3) Kentucky
4) Vandy

Seems like the consensus

I think it is only realistic for OM and SC to make it there. Neither Kentucky or Vandy have the resources or talent to make it to Atlanta.

You always need a little luck to get to the big game.

Unfortunately Ole Miss and SC don't have that.

That about sums it up.

Ole Miss is #1 here. Hell, in 2003 they were a QB spill away from going. SC has never been close. Throughout their history, OM has shown that they can be good at times. They have some tradition. Hell they played in the Cotton Bowl last year. SC on the other hand has no tradition and no history. Seriously, they don't. When you make a video called "year of the gamecock" after going 8-4 that tells you about the program. No coach has EVER strung together more than 2 or 3 above average years there, and they have to contend with UGA, UF, and UT every year. I just don't see any way SC will ever win the east. This year the stars have aligned (UT losing A TON [coach included], UF losing Tebow and some other stars, UGA being a big ? due to some big changes) for them to have their best shot maybe ever. If they don't go this year, I might venture to say that they never will.

Ole Miss wins NYD bowls and went 7-1 in the SEC not too long ago... I don't see, other than blind hatred, that you can assume Ole Miss will "never" go to the SECCG.

We'll make another this year too. The vols will be lucky to get two SEC wins this year.
