The deep bench and transition offense maybe the means to the end. I agree with you pentagon.

Lulz. As for Kentucky-Cornell, Cornell is a great team and they'll give Kentucky trouble early on. However, Kentucky's athleticism and pure talent will be far too much for Cornell to overcome.

UK by 7. Cornell will hang around and keep it close, but UK has too much firepower.

I honestly think Cornell gives Kentucky a better game than either West Virginia or Washington would.

YES....Cornell will give Kentucky all they want. This game is in Syracuse, New York. Cornell is located just down the road from Syracuse. This will be a home game for Cornell. This could be the first time in the tourney that Kentucky fans are in the minority. Cornell will feed off the atmosphere and energy from the Pro-Cornell crowd. I think Cornell will absolutely be ready for Kentucky!

It's about as possible that Cornell wins as say UNI beating Kansas but I sure wouldn't bet on it any more than I would on UNI in a rematch with KU.

Let's see: Is Cornell good? Yes. They snuck up on Temple and Wisconsin isn't nearly the team that UK is....and they only had a day to prep. I think I like UK's chances on 4 days of rest and preparation. Oh yeah, and the fact that they are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay more athletic. If Cornell kids are smart they will play nice and maybe UK's guys will let them be their Financial Advisors when they go to the NBA.

Cornell may be close to that arena, but I guarantee Kentucky fans bought tickets to that game when the regionals were announced...long before Cornell fans even thought about it. And, though Cornell has a very good team, Wisconsin and Temple are no where close to what Kentucky brings. They will give Kentucky a game...but by game, I mean close til halftime and ugly late.

This. I don't think we are underestimating anyone. I think we are just prepared due to Conference play, and fortunate that guys are stepping up at the exact time they need to in the season.

People talked about Wake giving us fits with their athleticism and skilled small guard. I scoffed at the guard "speed" thing, because "Ish" wasn't Devon Downey or about 3 other SEC small "speedy" guards.Cornell has a 7 footer, but I would bet he isn't near as talented as Venardo or Chism.

I think we win. If we play anywhere close to what we have been the past couple games, it will be over before the half. We are on a completely different level right now. I always said that Conference play would prepare us the best - these guys have no idea at all how we are in person like our SEC opponents. Watching kids on tape and nutting up in person are 10000000x different.

You guys are athletic as hell, but if you play Cornell's game like Kansas did against Northern Iowa, it will go down to the wire. This team took Syracuse and Kansas to the end earlier this year. And they are a better team now. This is a good team and this is going to be a battle. It's athleticism against x's and o's and team chemistry. I'm not saying yall will lose. I'm just saying get ready because you could easily lose this game. I don't like Calipari going up against a team like this.

They better gaurd the 3 point line because Cornell has a few really good shooters. Kentucky can be vunerable to the 3. Cornell runs their offense as efficiently as anybody and will always get quality shots. If they are falling it will be a long game for the pussy cats.

Yea, but SEC prepared them too, they won at Alabama Wait, But seriously like I said earlier, Kentucky's athleticism and overall talent will be too much for Cornell to handle. Cornell may hang around for a little while, but if Kentucky forces the tempo, this game won't be close down the stretch.

Cornell is good. They can run with our thoroughbreds for a whole game though. Our athleticism will be too much in the end.
