If Saban wins another NC this year does he stay and for how long or does he take another shot at the NFL.....thoughts

why would he go? they're building a statue of him in Alabama...

I guess I really don't care what he does anymore. I just want LSU to find an answer for Alabama.

with his ego I think he might pack it up and take it with him

What Div 1 coach has the most NC's? in modern times?...I think the only thing that keeps him there is maybe collecting more crystal than anyone else then moving on.

if he wins another or maybe 2 lets say, he will be talking behind the scenes about becoming alabama's athletic director. No pressure at that point. There would be no pressure on him as athletic director. He could in his joyous way watch the next coach become the most unpopular person in alabama, and then little nicky can save the day again by becoming the head coach. this will regenerate him from all of the gumps begging for him to come back.

I think you may be looking for the SEC board.
<-- 4th board down on the menu on the left hand side of your screen.

ditto for Auburn.
The Auburn fans worst case scenario has come alive these past two years, now we've got to find a way back to where we were.

Moot point. Bama/Saban won't win it again this year...the odds are just too long.

The is entire subject is so German. Please stop asking the same questions over and over and over again. It just makes you look stupid.

I would LOVE to be the head coach at Auburn if I was an impartial fan. All I would have to do is win 8 games every year and beat Alabama. I could easily stay 10 years.

Even if he leaves, Bama will still ride the momentum to another championship and several solid seasons...even if they hire a buffoon.
Right corndogs?

I think with Saban and Alabama you just have to take it a year at a time(No one who does not personally know his can say one way or the other when he will leave). Why would an NFL team want him? he was not all that great in Miami. It really just was not suited for him. Why hire him? Any college team would want him, but why rebuild at his age? His best bet is probably to stick at Alabama for 5-8 years and retire to his lake house in Georgia after that.

I think he'll replace Ted Roof as Auburn's DC, or replace Bobby Cox as the Braves' manager. There's no way Saban will stay beyond the 2010 season. Absolutely no way whatsoever.

Who gives a frick if he stays or goes. fricking midget.

Saban will be back in the NFL in 3 years max. Anybody who thinks he is at Bama for the long haul is delusional.
1) He is an NFL guy, he was was mentored by Bill Belichick
2) His ego won't let him accept his failure in the NFL. He wants another shot.
3) College football isn't a challenge for him. You could put Adrian Peterson in the CFL and he would dominate, nobody would touch him, but I guarantee you he'd rather be challenged in NFL. Guys like that are competitors and they need a challenge.
