I've been hearing the same from our resident Bammer for the last 3 years.

He's 100% serious and he swears THIS is the year it'll finally happen.

I didn't reply in here because there's already been two or three threads about it.

or failed performance enhancing drug test are the rumors.

this and I dont think most are as enamoured with him as some of the "better" talent we have coming in would be my guess. Now if it was Ingram/Richardson Hightower or one of those type players you would be seeing major fallout. Us Gumps would be jumping out of windows and stuff but apparently not for RG.

I bumped a 2 week old thread instead of starting a new one. Standard procedure.

Oh and I just talked to Robby Green. He says

Okay, I'll be honest. I am a little bummed about it just for the fact that he was a LA guy and it would have been nice for him to have turned out to be awesome so BAMA could have said we stole a great one. If 3 failed tests are fact then I say so long Mr. Green. It will make us a little thin at safety but it is what it is.

I think the bama rant is slowly losing it's title. Robby Green thread just have two bama people post in it?

Or maybe there have already been like 10 threads on the subject and nothing has changed (and people know very little about it to begin with) so there is really no reason for a bunch of Alabama fans to jump in another thread about it.

The drug test thing doesn't seem to be true if internet reports are true. The Bama guys would know better than me of course but I've seen reports the last couple of days that Bama is trying to get his eligibility reinstated. To my knowledge the NCAA doesn't take a players eligibility for failing weed tests. If it's an eligiblity issue then it's something else. Also if Bama is trying to get his restored then they must be planning to keep him if he can get eligible.
