Was listening to a couple douche bags battle this out (neither of which is a fan or alum of either school). I personally believe Birm. is mostly aubie fans but Im not certain.

Only an hour away from T-town.

Plus, Bama fans are in the large majority throughout the state.

Bham is mostly Bama, but Auburn has a lot of fans their too. It's about 65% to 35% which is a good representation of the entire state.

B'ham is a huge Bama bastion. That was one reason that the IB being played in Legion Field was never exactly "even" in terms of fans. Beofre the tickets were distributed to the two schools, there was a certain number allocated to bondholders who had purchased the bonds used to finance the building of the stadium. Most of the bondholders were B'ham residents, and Bama fans, so ther were always more tickets alloted to Bama fans.

ok thanks... I also used to know the family that developed the big mall, the highway is named after the dad if I remember correctly. They were big Auburn fans, maybe thats why I thought it was an aubie city.

General Population of Metro Birmingham - 70/30 Bama

There are a couple of zip codes though where the Auburn fans may outnumber the Bammers....these would all be south of Birmingham where incomes are generally higher.
