Never stopped Gator fans from slamming UT players after the charges were dropped. Give and take.

He wasn't enrolled. Wasn't on the team. There was a scholly waiting for him. But you can't be using a scholarship if you aren't in school.

He never laced up cleats at Ole Miss. So therefore, Ole Miss holds no responsibility for his second offense.

What HOMER logic.

The guy GOT A SCHOLARSHIP. Houston Nutt was hoping he'd be a STARTER. If this guy hadn't committed felony #2, he would have played for Ole Miss in some capactiy.

Stop being delusional.

Will all the "dropped" charges either the Gainsville police department resembles the keystone cops or someone is good at getting charges dropped.

Yea. But he never got to Ole Miss. So the responsibility doesn't fall on the School, team, or coaching staff.

at least our university and police department don't try and cover up star player's crimes.

can't believe the UF police haven't been sued for false arrest with all the arrests made that shouldn't have been.

That is ridiculous. He was recruited by YOUR coaching staff EVEN AFTER he had been convicted for using a DEAD GIRL'S STOLEN CREDIT CARD!!!

AND he was rewarded a scholarship. It's never ANY coaches responsibility when a player commits a crime, IMO, but come on. Ole Miss took a chance on this guy and it blew up in their face even before the kid stepped on the field.

We did take a chance on him and it blew up in our face. But it wasn't the coaches responsibility because the guy had yet to join the team.

But when the guy IS on the team(i.e. roster), the coaching staff then becomes responsible for his players.

for the purpose of this board i expect for the gators to be slammed. it is par for the coarse and i have no problem with it.

as gator fans we are tired of this crap and it is time for it to stop. make an example out of someone if necessary.

i just dont understand it. we all recruit the same damn players for the most part. i want to know wtf happens to these guys when they get to gville. brown is supposed to be from a good family.

if this turns out to be nothing i am giving you all a pre-emptive because we "let" another player off the hook.

The problem with Gainesville is that there is nothing to do but get in trouble.

I grew up here. I was always in trouble because it was the only fun thing to do.

Standard Florida punishment is called for. Sit him for 2 quarters of an insignificant game and then get him suited up to play when you need him against a good team. That should teach him.
