One Tebow doesn't negate 26 players.

We see what Meyer did to Spikes for intentionally poking a player in the eye. I don't see him doing much more in this case....

Says the fan of a team that picked up a kid that was booted for credit card fraud. Even worse, he was using her card when she was dead.

Meyer won't be handling this until he gets back, if at all. This is Addazio's responsibility right now. Honestly, at some point, the kids gotta grow up. It's not all Meyer's fault when a kid makes a bad decision. He doesn't brush their teeth or wash their clothes. They have to grow the frick up someday.

He never made it to campus.

But to further this. I'm all for giving someone a second chance. But during a 5 year span, it's pretty telling when what equates to an entire signing class has gotten arrested.

Yea, but the coaching staff at Ole Miss wanted him.

But are you really in a position to talk smack right now? I understand that you are likely upset and just trying to defend your school.....but a simple frick off would be the better route to take in this.

Read my post on the first page. I'm not defending shite at this point. It's somewhat embarrassing.

You get arrested for pot, drinking, or random traffic violations, you get a 2nd chance at Florida.

Also, the chargers were dropped in like, what, 10 of those cases?

You do something serious, like steal a credit card, you get booted immediately.......

And go to Ole Miss....

Or you steal a computer and get booted and immediately go to.......

Auburn.

Seriously, UF is getting way to much publicity for this.

Gary Brown is still an idiot.

Jamar Hornsby?

Just google him. Ole Miss had him on scholarship AFTER the incident at Florida, and then he got caught on another Felony.

My point is, people who live in glass houses shouldn't throw stones. This is a prevailing problem in College football, and our country as a whole.

Not just at Florida.

Yeah. I guess FSU cannot get it done on the field against Florida, so they run their mouths about stupid shite like this to try to get under Gator fans skin. FSU's product on the field cannot compete with Florida, so the fans try weak arse flaming.

Auburn.

1. He did not immediately go to Auburn.

2. I don't blame him for wanting to play in a better environment.

3. If Florida truly has the best interest of the players in mind, they should "boot" anyone who gets arrested. Their "second chance" should come at another school, one that has a better record for keeping players out of trouble. (" Brown is the 26th football player to be arrested in Florida coach Urban Meyer's five-year tenure.")

You're right. This is pretty standard stuff; not news anymore.

Don't even pull this crap. Auburn could have a Felon for a starting QB (although i think he might have pled down, I can't remember) while UF has only a bunch of misfits with misdemeanors on their team.

Most of which are for drinking, pot, fighting and random traffic stuff and HALF OF WHICH have been dropped.

Wrong.

Mississippi coach Houston Nutt has released troubled signee Jamar Hornsby from his scholarship and said Friday that Hornsby would not be a part of the Rebels' football team.

that is not even close this has been going on in piles sice football began. If he hit her he will be gone if he pushed her away because she attacked him maybe she should learn to keep her hands to herself. No I am not advocating hitting women or being physical in any way. I am just simply stating that if you are going to hit someone especially a man then dont be surprised if he retaliates out anger or embarrassment or used to seeing it at home. If anyone has ever been hit in the face or something you know your first reaction is to retaliate.

He wasn't enrolled. Wasn't on the team. There was a scholly waiting for him. But you can't be using a scholarship if you aren't in school.

He never laced up cleats at Ole Miss. So therefore, Ole Miss holds no responsibility for his second offense.
