With a month to prepare and with the criticism Coach Crowton has received I expected more from our offense. I can't understand why Jordan Jefferson does not seem comfortable in his skin. He always seems unsure of himself and pissed. I just don't get why our offense continues to look so bad so often.

Soul searching? He needs to fricking resign. If he really gave a frick about LSU, he would quit.

The offense and the AB is solely on Crowton. Miles needs to move on Crowton now, and Alleva needs to step in.

Crowton has had 2 years years to work out what the problems are.
Seeing no difference in today's effort was very disappointing. I can't imagine Crowton still being with the team for long.

I am very afraid that Crowton will be here as the fall guy for next year.

What makes you think he gives a damn about LSU? I'm sure he casres about his players, but LSU is just his employer. He has no loyalty to the institution. It's not like he went to school there.

Saban is the same way. He might be fond of a place, but that doesn't mean he's not looking out for numero uno first, assistants second, players third, and school somewhere about 9 or 10.

Coaches don't care about where they coach as long as they get the paycheck on time. the schools will cut their arse in a heart beat for having a bad record and they know that.

i'm pretty disappointed too TenTex. this group of offensive guys just don't play well together. it is very obvious to me that it starts with our blocking and inability to run the ball effectively. that is the #1 reason we can't win a fourth quarter, which is where we lost 3 of our games this year. up by one at the start and score zero points and eat no clock. i just think that miles better solve that OL shite or he just may lose his job. i don't know the answer because i'm not a coach, but we pay him to do that. our QB is who he is. he is very inconsistent but so is jacory harris and other sophomore QB's across the country. sometimes he looks great and sometimes horrible. i do feel good about him improving though. the OL and the blocking from the RB's (ridley sucks), the TE's and the WR's is poor. for some reason we can't teach a fullback the playbook either. i have resisted, but i agree we need a change at OC. ultimately (i'm not forgetting miles), he's responsible for this lack of blocking. he has the athletes. we need to get someone here that can do this. sorry for the lengthy tirade but i'm through with the friggin' tiger rant and it's piss poor quality posters. i enjoy your insight often.

Good post and observations LSUGrandDad. I agree with your post.
In regards to the Tiger Rant I think it needs a major overhaul. I think if they split it into 4 different boards some how with logical themes it might help. There are way too many ridiculous threads being posted every minute that drive some really good threads off the 1st page in less then a minute. Happy New Year to you!

Sorry. I've been watching bowl games all Holiday season. There are so many bowls that literally half of all of the FBS or what used to be called division I is in a bowl game. And of all of those games that I have seen, at least 15 or 20 teams have a better quarterback than we do and are better coached. Just saying.
