Has brought balance back to the SEC.
Think about it. As long as I was alive, and long before I was born, Alabama was the hands down number one team in the SEC. Tennessee and Georgia were usually #2 and #3, with LSU/Ole Miss/Auburn/UF occasionally coming up with a big season here and there.
All of a sudden, UF and then LSU and UF became the class of the SEC (with Tennessee and UGA coming up with big seasons along the way).
Darth Saban has vanquished LSU and now Florida, once again bringing balance to the SEC.
With Urban Meyer's departure, Alabama is now without doubt the class of the SEC, while LSU, Tennessee, UGA, and UF are capable of coming up with a big season. Just as it was in the beginning.

You bring up a good point. I really agree Saban can dominate the SEC for a while. Unless Florida can get a big hire (which is possible), Even if this happens I don't think anyone in the West will touch Saban. Even if he has a bad game and loses Miles will have at least 2 or 3 to Saban's 1 bad game. Bama is in great shape in the West. They are poised for a good run.

nope. Didn't say that. However, HISTORICALLY, both programs, esp. Tennessee, have been just a bit better than LSU.
Actually, with all the Star Wars watchin' I've been doing lately (plus a discussion on the Movie/TV board), this similarities between bringing balance to the "Force" and the SEC kind of just popped into my head.

Well, well, well. Congrats on keeping your true Gump loyalties hidden for so long. Can you link us the crystal ball you have that foresees 20 + years of non stop dominance that Bama will enjoy with a coach that is now 58?
Only true gumps would be retarded enough to think that Urban Meyers departure means Florida will become a team that occasionally has a good season and that Bama will never falter.
