The arrogance is overwhelming...

...what happened to act like you've been there before?
I know many UT, LSU, and of course Gator fans. I have never seen arrogance to match that of the Bammers from any of these three fanbases when in the national title game or the BCSNCG. Now this is not to say that all Bammers are exhibiting such behavior, even on this board. I am wondering if it is just the "newer"/younger Bammers who have only heard/read about Bama's success without actually experiencing it themselves. Where are all those classy Bama fans we are always hearing about? Some of you are making it VERY difficult to pull for you in the BCSNCG.

My thoughts exactly, that was my reasoning in taking a bunch of shots at 'Bama in all their threads and begged them to at least keep all the self-dick sucking in 1 or 2 therads. Now they've got a great team and have accomplished plenty but I remember sayin in 1 thread that UF fans had 2 national titles in both basketball and football and they didn't talk nearly as much crap.

There are close to 200 Bama fans on this board, and like 7 Gator fans. So there is a much higher odds of finding dickheads in the larger sampling. Throw in that people will generally overlook or justify the dickheads in their own fanbase, or the ones they at least temporarily identify with...PLUS success in another fan base rubs others the wrong way anyway, and you have a good head start to threads like this one.
As a Bama fan who has been here since 2007, I've seen PLENTY of arrogance and had lots of shite slung my way by all of the fanbases you've said aren't arrogant. LSU fans here have PLENTY of arrogant assholes in their ranks, but I've never let that deter me from pulling for them HARD in the BCSNCG...and just as hard for the Gators in theirs.

Well, I can't comment on your "personal knowledge"....If thats the case, I know one Gator grad/fan in my personal knowledge sample, and he's the biggest dickhead I've ever known. So I guess Florida is the worst fanbase in America...

I am pulling for Texas, who I thought was the most arrogant fanbase in the world. Bammers act like its the first time, its pathetic.
Their fans are basically causing fellow SEC team fans to pull for Tejas. You would think with the 6 dozen national championships (including recruiting, spring game attendance, arrests) that this group would be familiar with the surroundings. Apparently not.

The best and only way to shut Bammers up is to beat them. Florida will probably have 2 chances (1 time in the SEC Champ game) at this next year. Bammers are gonna have a lot more to hold over LSU fans than any other team because we probably lose to them again next year. I think Florida will split with Bama next year at 1-1. I really would not feel bad if I was a Florida fan. You guys are going to be fine. Meyer can still coach and can recruit a loaded state of Florida. Florida will get many chances over the next few years to beat Bama in my opionion. I think Bama and Florida are going to dominate the league for a while as far as overall consistency. Florida is in good shape. I think you guys beat us/LSU again next year and win the East even in a rebuilding year.
