How many SEC and BCS championships will Bama win in the next 5 years?
I am going with 2 NC's and 3 SEC.
We have returned to our rightful spot atop the SEC, just a little unfinished business with some Gators. With back-to-back recruiting national championships (print the fricking shirts), and a #2 rated class this year we are going to rule this joint for a quite some to come. Brings to mind The Who lyrics, "meet the new boss, same as the old boss".

I mean hell, lets just go with five and five. I'd take 1 and 2 though.

Two SEC, zero NC's. But, will sell a ton of recruiting national championship t shirts and lay claim to the most fans to attend spring games for the next 5 years.
UF has this years SEC locked up.

1 NC maybe 2 SEC
rightful?
Put tha pipe down for a minute. Take a deep breath. You have to have actually have won a couple of SEC titles and an NC or two before you can start the whole "top of the SEC" bit

As I noted last night, we paid the light bills in this conference for a long time. Now it is our time. It is good to be the King.

flames and stupid posts aside, the chances of us winning one NC in the next five years are pretty good really. At least compared to most teams chances.

So far you've won as many championships as Vandy, that is to say, you've won nothing. If that's your rightful spot, well, have fun.

I agree. I also think LSU has a legit shot to get another in the same time span

Maybe so, I just don't think they're very good this year.

Well of course they're pretty good this year, were one of only four teams that have a chance. I get why Florida is the favorite but if we get by them I think we can beat Texas.

McElroy is awful. Wilson might have been even worse last year.
That's why the media hasn't really given Alabama any respect over the last two years. Contrary to a lot of people's opinion around here, the national media loves Bama. They want them to do well. Problem is Alabama's wins are ugly and unimpressive because their quarterbacks are incapable of lighting it up even against bad teams.
