SEC Fans, has there ever been a team do so poorly as Ole

Miss has this year after being picked to win the SEC West and a consensus top 10 National pick? I can’t think of one but maybe I’m overlooking one. Also, what do you attribute the train wreck to?

You could certainly make arguments for individual teams, but as a PROGRAM, Ole Miss has a perpetual case of the choke --across all programs actually

If you knew anything about football or the history of football you'd know there are always teams that come in to the season over rated. Ole Miss was over rated based on how the finished last year in what was a weak SEC over all and cotton bowl win over a disinterested TexasTech team.
They are still Ole Miss and their record is commensurate with where their recruiting has been, about middle of the pack. There should have been no disappointments.

Not true. LSU was favored to win the west that year. Bama was coming off their worst season in decades, having won only 4 games in 1997.

Hi WRT. We were all wondering if you were polishing Nutt's knob since you seem to disappear every time Ole Miss is losing. Did you give him a quickie after the game or was he too upset to enjoy your company?

Alabama 2000, pretty bad. It just happens sometimes. If a school hasn't had a year in which it failed to live up to expectations then it probably hasn't had a team with high expectations.
