Why did Auburn get so conservative on offense as the game went on? They had no shot once they abandoned what worked so well for them in the first 10 minutes of the game.

Loved the onside kick though. I love that kinda shite.

The Auburn Tigers came to play today and came up short. Not bad considering 80% of bama fans on here said it would be a cakewalk.

I'm not into the moral victory though.Losing at the end is worse than 36-0

proud of the players, but have some choice words for the coaching(like the offensive play calling for some of the game)
hell I'm just pissed

I've been here the whole time. Just too nervous and upset to post. Auburn went all out and came to win.

Almost gave me a heart attack.

You should be proud. Auburn played and coached their best game of the year right there...save maybe the UT game.
I will not dog Chizik again.

Auburn is back. I will not dog them again. I knew when I met Chizik that he was going to get that program back on track. He did it faster than I thought he would.

Saban was outcoached in this one. Bama's qb just made a few more plays than Aubie's QB.

I agree, but it allowed the QB to shine and Julio to be Julio.

Good teams find ways to win games like that. Alabama is what national championship teams are built like. Just did what it took to win. Great last drive. Perfect execution.

Auburn played a great game against a great team. They played above their heads, caught a few breaks and had a chance to win. Good turn around after the tough UGA loss though, maybe Chiz is doing some good work over on the Planes.

One of the best games in the SEC this year.

bullshite. Auburn pulled some early shenanigans but at the end Saban did exactly what they needed to. The defense locked down. After the big play to open the half, Alabama dominated Auburn. That last drive was brilliant. He put Auburn in an awful position. Either let Bama run it down too low and not call timeouts or call too many to give you a shot but not be able to stop the clock. This game shows you how good of a coach Saban really is.

Saban >>> Miles, Chiz, Nutt

This will be lost on people with agendas. The game came down to the last 8 minutes and Bama did what they had to do to win in all three phases of the game. They dictated what Auburn had to do with the clock and both teams did a great job.
This was a fantastic game, no matter what haters on either side want to say.

I give a round of ovation for both teams.

Poor clock management and Gus's play calling on first down. The runs up the middle and the passes to tate in the flat?? :banghead:

Don't think it was play calling. Todd was gunshy and dumped it off twice which was worthless.

I suppose you would have prefered a long pass ending in an INT.
They took what was given and Bama played good D.
Auburn's coaches called one hell of a game.
