Our fans suffer from severe ADD. We're better off spinning shiny objects in a corner somewhere. Give us a break.

I do. I think he is a very mediocre coach. Recruited well at first, but now that is starting to slip as other SEC schools have upgraded their staffs. i.e. I don't care if Trovon Reed ever played for LSU....You don't let a player of that quality leave the state. Bottom line. He also fricked up the Lacy and Sentimore situation something awful.

I also believe that he doesn't play the best players. Slowly we are falling back to mediocrity, and that is unacceptable to me considering our facilities, coaches salaries, and location as the only major university in a talent rich area.

Sorry, but I don't want what LSU has become recently to all go to shite. The 90's fricking sucked and I never want to go through that again.

You can't honestly believe that.

I like how some Bama fans all of the sudden defend Miles after the last two seasons. If Saban were to leave for Notre Dame, Penn State or another NFL job, would you want Miles to replace him?

his coaching from 05-07 isn't the same as the last 2 years.

saturday i watched our team start to tank for the 2nd straight year and i watched him show no passion at all on the sideline.

Question for non-LSU fans...

do you think it's ridiculous how average to below average we've been on offense this year given the amount of talent we have at the skill positions?

I'm not sure that many people want him gone. I think its more that if Les Miles announced he was leaving at the end of the season, 70-80% of the fanbase wouldn't care. Most think we can bring in someone who can do the same job he has for about 1 million a year cheaper.

I definatley wanna keep Les. I think he is a good coach. Just because he isn't throwing water coolers at players doesn't mean he doesn't care. Bitching about his recruiting is just dumb. I'd give crowton another year with jj as a jr.

Our fans will never be happy and always look for something to bitch about. Not just in football either, there already is a thread on the rant bitching about the way Trent Johnson coaches two games into the season.

I guarantee you the vast majority don't despite what the Rant will try to tell you. The talk of getting rid of Miles in the hopes of maybe landing a guy that will average 11 wins a regular season instead of 10 is approaching embarrassing levels, but we still have two big games left.

Les Miles dismantled Coker's Canes to a tune of 40-3 in the Peach Bowl.

As long as Miles keeps LSU's recruiting program in the top-5 every year, the NegaTigers can't touch him.

I wouldn't mind seeing just a little more fire from Les on the sideline, especially when the team suffers yet another ridiculous call or no-call from the officials.

But you don't have to throw down your headset and mouth a string of obscenities into the camera to get your players attention and respect.

Mark Whipple. Runs a similar style pro-offense to that of Crowton, but he's excellent with young QB's and knows how to get perimeter talent and skill players involved.

Not me. There doesn't seem to be much of a "gray area" with some LSU fans. I think Miles is an outstanding coach. Sure, there are some things I don't understand or am frustrated with, but what team doesn't have those issues.

I hope he's here for a long time.
