I said it at the beginning of the year. The Heisman is McCoy's to lose. He'll put up the numbers and they'll probably run the table in the Big XII. He'll be the "shiny" pick if that makes sense. Then, UT will proceed to get skull-fricked in the NC game by either UF or Bama and another Big XII Heisman QB will be crying on the sidelines.

I think it will go to McCoy because number 1 he is at Texas and number 2 we are Alabama. No way in hell a bunch of yankee sportswriters gives the heismen to Alabama if there is someone else to give it to.

Also, colt is a senior and Ingram is a Sophomore. It is colt's to lose. He continues to post good numbers against shitty teams but that is good enough for the voters.

On the bright side. If we can continue to win and get by Florida in the SEC CG I like our chances in the NC against a team with a heismen QB.

Ingram probably deserves it more than McCoy - after all he is throwing to another Heismann candidate in Shipley. But due to the (imo) farce that was last year McCoy will get it for lifetime achievement version of it, and as its so close the 2 year campaign will beat the 1 year

I think if we are National Champions over Texas they might give it to Ingram but that still is iffy. It's all bull imo but o well.

I don't think McCoy has had a Heisman year. Their defense has won the games.

Ingram hasn't had a year that blows you away however he's been better than Colt and Tebow in my opinion.

Guys like Case Keenum that don't have a shot should probably be higher up the list. A guy like that who has beaten 2 Big 12 teams and 1 SEC team with far inferior talent while throwing for over 400 yards a game should be in the mix in my opinion. His number against OSU and TTU were much better than Colt's. His stats against MSU were much better than Tebow's. I think the number of passes he puts up hurts him but TD to INT ratio is great and the guy has made some clutch game winning drives.

if we make it to pasadena and play texas I hope McCoy wins it. I want Ingram and the rest of the team to come in with a chip on their shoulder, and something to prove.

It's all McCoy - it has been all season long, so long as he didn't pull a Jevan. Ingram has been great, but he's not a household name outside of the SEC like McCoy is.

Oh, and to think Texas is going to get skullfricked by anyone is retarded. They are the most complete team in the country right now, and I think the SEC streak of NCs is over this year, regardless of who wins the SECCG (and yes, I would've said the same thing even if it were LSU)

McCoy will win it b/c he is playing in the national championship game. For Ingram to have a shot either 1)he has to have a BIG SEC CG or 2)Bama has to beat UF in Atlanta

the winner of the seccg wins the heisman (if, of course, both teams are undefeated by then).

however, if you are asking my opinion, i think that richardson is better than ingram.

Ingram deserves it more than McCoy at this point but the guy who deserves it the most is Kennum(sp) from Houston.

All three play in an offense tailored for what they do best and he has been the best.
